Launchpad guides such as CryptoSlate and TerabyteTriangle compare fees and graduation thresholds across platforms. We won't quote other platforms' figures here. We'll only show our own split, so you can check it yourself.
The rule on FYRM
Every coin is launched on Meteora on Solana, and every coin pays a 2% fee on each buy and each sell. The fee is split in three parts:
- Meteora keeps 20% of the fee.
- The remaining 80% is split 50/50.
- Half goes to FYRM, half to the coin's creator, which is the business the coin belongs to.
A worked example, line by line
Take a trade of 1 SOL. This is arithmetic on the rule, not a forecast of anything.
| Line | Share of fee | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Fee on the trade | 2% of 1 SOL | 0.02 SOL |
| Meteora | 20% of the fee | 0.004 SOL |
| FYRM | 40% of the fee | 0.008 SOL |
| Coin's creator | 40% of the fee | 0.008 SOL |
The three lines add back to 0.02 SOL. In terms of the trade size, that is 0.4% to Meteora, 0.8% to FYRM and 0.8% to the creator. Buys and sells are treated the same, so a round trip pays the fee twice.
What this does not tell you
The fee is a cost of trading, not a signal about where a price goes. Nothing here says a coin will rise, fall or hold value, and none of it is advice to buy, hold or sell.
The curve around the fee
Each coin picks one of two bonding curves before launch. Standard starts at a 30 SOL market cap and graduates at 374 SOL. More liquidity starts at 215 SOL and graduates at 1,609 SOL. After that, the coin moves to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool with all of its liquidity locked for good.
FYRM's own coin launches on Meteora soon, on the Standard curve. There is no coin address yet, so be wary of anyone who gives you one.
